Service Description

The urban art of La Paz is a living canvas that tells the story of the city and its deep connection to the sea. Its murals are not just colors on the walls: they are narratives that unite past and present, tradition and environmental awareness. In 2017, the “La Paz, Mural City” project was born, bringing together local, national, and Spanish artists. Inspired by the stories of early settlers and fishermen, these artists transformed the city center into an open-air museum, painting works that narrate the history of this “port of dreams” and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the ocean and biodiversity. That initial impetus gave rise to new projects, such as “La Paz Marine City” and “Wild Coast,” which added dozens of murals with the same message: the defense of nature and the cultural pride of Baja California Sur. Today, the city boasts more than 100 murals, each with its own style and voice, transforming the streets into a true artistic and social journey. As we walk through La Paz, we will interpret together the urban paintings and sculptures that decorate the city, discovering the profound meaning behind their forms and colors: stories of identity, the sea, and a shared future.
