Whale Shark Tour😍
One of the most humbling experiences ever was an impromptu opportunity to take a tour with Ocean Nomad, early one Saturday in La Paz, BCS. All the details were arranged and we were off watching for and ultimately swimming with the incredible whale sharks in a protected location on the Sea of Cortez. All of the details arranged by Ocean Nomad were perfect. A small group of friends were booked on a well-equipped watercraft, complete with swimming and diving equipment, safety gear, refreshments, a light lunch and a wonderful guide and captain.
The combination of their vast knowledge, professional expertise and incredible personality made the tour with Ocean Nomad such a thrilling adventure, one I could have never imagined doing. Thank you for encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone!

Excellent experience In La Paz with Marie!
We had an unforgettable experience in La Paz, Baja California Sur, thanks to our amazing guide, Marie. She is an incredibly knowledgeable and well prepared for any Last-minute changes (which tend to happen in Baja!). From swimming with sea lions to snorkeling, every moment was filled with excitement and fun.
The simple yet Delicious lunch on a beautiful, secluded beach was a perfect way to end the day. If you are looking for a guide who can ensure a seamiess and enjoyable adventure, Marie is the one to book!

City Tour
Marie asked our interests in La Paz and then designed a custom tour with a focus on history and culture. Her knowledge of La Paz is extensive and she imparts it in an engaging way that makes it clear she loves this area. The regional and whale (la balena) museums were both fascinating as well as our walk around town. Marie even found and brought us to a fabric shop at the last minute for my daughter. Overall a great experience and Marie has become a friend.

We would like to share our recent experience on a Seafari organized with Ocean Nomad.
We don't usually publish reviews about activities, but in this case, we want to highlight the excellent service we received from them.
From the moment we contacted her after being recommended by some friends, we knew it was going to be a special experience and Ocean Nomad exceeded our expectations.
She took care of everything. She kept us informed about every aspect of the Seafari at all times, and even though we shared a boat with a (small) group, Carla treated us like personal guides. We received information about all the places we visited and the marine life we encountered. We felt that everything was perfectly organized to make the most of our time and enjoy every minute of the experience.
All the information about costs was transparent and without surprises, and we found it to be a more than reasonable price for the quality of service received.

The Triumph
I was looking to do something different from resorts and beaches and had a great time with Marie on this tour. She knows a lot about and is passionate about the history of the area and definitely explained more than most tour guides would even bother to. The tour is also great as a small private group and she is happy to take you to what you want to see. The cactus sanctuary was also very cool as most vacationers will see cacti in the landscape, but this was an opportunity to learn about them up close. I definitely recommend this tour and Marie as your tour guide if you want a change of pace.

Seafari La Ventana
Karla is amazing!!! A few friends and I were interested in going on a seafari and Karla helped organize the perfect day!
She drove us to La Ventana where a captain was waiting with his boat. We set off on our adventure and were able to swim with two schools of mobula rays. It was a dream come true to swim with these magnificent creatures!
We also got to see a huge school of dolphins and several whales! I heard they even saw orcas the next day.
I would recommend Karla 10000000%! You're in good hands and are sure to have a great time.
We took a museum and city walking tour of La Paz today with our tour guide Marie W.
We had excellent communication with Marie leading up to the tour, she was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what she showed us. We really enjoyed the anthropology museum, the architecture and history of the city, and especially the many murals.
Marie enhanced both our knowledge and our enjoyment of everything we saw. We had been in La Paz twice before but never appreciated it the way we do now!
Plus, she took us an amazing lunch (seafood burritos!) and coffee house that we wouldn't have found without her. Our tour of La Paz with Marie far exceeded our expectations and we hope to do another with her in the future.
