Run Marlin in Magdalena Bay
Spectacular Marine Life
Service Description
Experience one of the most spectacular events in the Mexican Pacific, when from October to December enormous schools of sardines congregate near Magdalena Bay, attracting majestic predators such as marlin, dorado, orcas, sea lions, and dolphins, in a true marine life festival. We will depart very early from La Paz towards Puerto Chale, a quiet coastal town just over two hours from the city. After a brief rest stop, we will board a panga, designed to bring us closer to the sea and its secrets, with a maximum capacity of 12 people. For 5 to 6 hours of sailing, we will explore the waters in search of the sardine schools, observing how the predators deploy in a natural spectacle that combines strategy, strength, and synchronicity. We will have the opportunity to swim with marlin and dolphins, and if we are lucky, even observe orcas and humpback whales along the way. Each trip is unique, an authentic encounter with the wild and dynamic nature of the ocean. Upon returning to Puerto Chale, we'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, featuring typical regional flavors, before heading back to La Paz, carrying with us the excitement of an unforgettable day of marine adventures. Duration: 10-12 hours Price: 21,000 MXN per group (private, up to 6 people) Includes round-trip transportation from La Paz, boat tour, certified guide, lunch at a local restaurant, drinks, and snacks.
