Diving in Espíritu Santo
Exploring the Aquarium of the World
Service Description
Immerse yourself in the waters of the Sea of Cortez, dubbed the “Aquarium of the World” by Jacques Cousteau, and discover an underwater world teeming with life and wonders. The best months for this experience are from September to December, when visibility and water temperature create optimal conditions for exploring this marine paradise. During the dive you will be able to: • Interact with the largest colony of sea lions in Baja California Sur, famous for their curiosity and playful spirit with divers. • Explore shipwrecks, some the result of conservation projects, such as the Fan Ming, which are home to an impressive variety of fish and serve as a resting area for turtles during nesting season. The Espíritu Santo archipelago offers a diverse range of dive sites, and we will guide you to make the most of each dive, sharing our passion for marine life and ocean conservation. We'll depart early, at 8:00 a.m., from the municipal pier. We'll enjoy two dives at two different sites and finish with a delicious ceviche lunch. We'll return between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., satisfied with having explored one of the richest marine ecosystems on the planet. --Includes boat tour, PADI dive instructor, 2 dive tanks, National Park wristbands, water, snacks, and ceviche lunch --Diving equipment available for rent --
